    Ice ice baby!!!

    When I saw this machine I was super excited to give it a try. The thought of not having to fill our larger ice molds and wait for them to freeze anymore really turned me on to this ice maker. When we first got the machine it was a little bigger than anticipated but that is okay. You have the option to hook it up to a water line or just fill the machine for more counter top use, which is what we did. It took about 40 minutes for the first 4 balls to be made but after that it averaged around 4 balls every half hour. With having the option of the water line hook up I was concerned about how often I would have to add water to get a decent amount of balls but we filled it once and then topped off after an hour which it still had a lot of water in it and it made about 20 balls of ice. I was impressed with that. I am sure we will get a lot of use out of this machine as we are big on bourbons and when we entertain we go through our larger cubes quickly. I now want to make more of a bar area and make this more of a permanent appliance booking it up to a water line rather than using it as a counter top appliance.
